    What is the CyberNYC Fellowship?

The NYC Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), in partnership with Fullstack Academy, is offering select full tuition scholarships for qualifying NYC residents to attend the Fullstack Academy Cybersecurity Analytics Bootcamp at no cost.

Our full-time and part-time cybersecurity bootcamps teach students how to monitor and secure systems, networks and applications--as well as deploy offensive and defensive tactics needed to respond to cyber breaches. The curriculum is designed for prospective cyber professionals to gain the skills, career search support, and experience to launch a career in the industry.

The Center for Internet Security, CACI International, and Accenture are just a few of the companies who have hired graduates of the Fullstack Academy Cyber Bootcamp.

Why is the Fullstack Academy Cyber Bootcamp offering this fellowship?

The Cyber NYC Fellowship comes at a time when there’s an extremely high demand for cyber talent. According to research from Cyber Seek, the number of open cyber positions in New York is among the highest in the nation at 23,549. However, there isn’t enough cyber talent to meet the need--due in part to a lack of training opportunities.

As a New York–based organization, our continued relationship with NYCEDC offers a unique opportunity to serve qualifying residents with in-demand tech career training while also protecting against the global threat of cybercrime.

Who is eligible for the CyberNYC Fellowship?

To be eligible to apply for the CyberNYC Fellowship scholarship opportunity, NYC residents must first submit their Fullstack Academy Cyber Bootcamp program application, complete the admissions process, and be accepted into the bootcamp program.
