Who Can Lease A Car?
In the UK, almost anyone aged 18 and over with a full valid UK driving licence can lease a car. To lease a vehicle, simply choose the car and deal you prefer, and submit a credit application. The finance company associated with the lease deal will need to approve your application, which involves a credit check assessing your current financial circumstances, credit strength, and risk status.
There are two types of leases available: Personal Contract Hire (PCH) and Business Contract Hire (BCH). With a PCH, the contract is in your name, and you are responsible for the finance. With a BCH, the contract is in your business's name and is financed through the company.
