Willard Conservation completed a 36kW solar PV installation for which they received £13,000 through our Community Solar Accelerator grant programme.

Based in Chichester, Willard Conservation engineer and manufacture specialist equipment which they supply to art conservators such as private studios, galleries and museums worldwide.

They have a number of pitched and flat roofs which they used to benefit from maximising the solar PV capacity.

The CSA team has been incredibly helpful throughout the process, offering great support at every stage and giving their expert input and knowledge to guide us in making well informed decisions, especially when we faced unexpected disruptions or complications to the plans.

Getting involved with the Community Solar Grant has allowed us to achieve our long-standing goal of installing a Solar PV Array on our workshop roofs – something that would have been otherwise unattainable without this vital funding. We are now able to move towards becoming as sustainable as possible as a business and one step closer to becoming a net zero company.
