$525,000 Near Death Motorbike Accident

Stuart, 55 from Marrickville, NSW, was riding a motorbike in Nepal when he was hit by a truck. He was rushed to Manipal Teaching Hospital. Stuart suffered serious back and brain injuries from the impact of his accident. Due to the severity of Stuart's injuries, he was airlifted by helicopter to Kathmandu, where after examinations he was medivaced to Bangkok where he underwent a number of operations. Stuart remained in a coma for his Careflight Air Ambulance back to Australia to receive ongoing treatment.

Claire, a 72 year old from the Northern Beaches, NSW, needed over $190,000 worth of medical assistance after she fell and injured her spine while on her dream cruise around South America.
