    Laurie had it all then it fell apart with betrayal, Laurie decides that she’s going to take the time at the conference to see if anything can be repaired.
    When she crashed into Liam, she didn’t think that things could get more complicated, but she just wants one night to forget everything, and Liam gives her that.
    Firm on what she’s going to do Laurie didn’t think things could get more complicated, James moves out but he still insists that it was a mistake that he’ll never make again. Liam however is now her new boss and he still wants her, but wants to keep work personal life separate and keep it only the passion between them.
    Laurie has so much to decide, James and everything they had together, but the betrayal, blaming her because she was so distant. Liam is everything but he doesn’t do relationships and just wants the nights of passion, and he’s, her boss. Both men want her, but do they want what she wants, both men betrayed her, will she make a choice or walk away from both.

That was until she bumps into Liam and the sparks that ignite by looking up at him has her questioning everything. Her one night stand with him will have repercussions she didn't see coming and learning that he will be her new boss only makes matters worse. Will she and James repair their marriage or has Liam gotten in her head having her thinking that it is beyond repair? I loved the story but it ends on a cliffhanger!

    There are pieces of this book that I enjoyed, but I’m not a huge fan of either the H or h. The h, Laurie, is understandably wishy-washy considering the situation she’s found herself in, but I hate when a h confuses phenomenal sex with ‘falling for someone’. Nobody is that naive, right? This guy is as closed off and secretive as a man could possibly be, so what is she falling for? The H, Liam, seems crazy manipulative to me. Cold and withdrawn when he doesn’t get his way vs. warm and comforting when he’s decided he wants more. That’s not sexy, it’s childish.

    Now, there are some things that I really enjoyed about this book. I have to be honest, and I don’t care how petty it sounds, but I love a good rebound romance. When someone cheats, that is a deal-breaker, so I don’t have a problem with the h immediately starting a sexual relationship with someone else. I get it, and I applaud her for taking back her self-esteem and femininity in an extremely PLEASURABLE way. I’m also a fan of how she has handled interactions with the OW her husband cheated with. She doesn’t do drama, and she’s not a pushover. I really like that aspect of her character.

    I am interested to see what happens in the next installment, and I’m hoping she takes the final step in cutting the husband out. I’m hanging on by a thread of interest in this series and I’m hoping that it doesn’t turn into a love triangle because that will snip that thread super quick.

For the past month, James has apologized daily and swears it will never happen again, but Laurie can't get past the hurt or lack of trust. Out of town for a business trip, she literally runs into the most gorgeous man she's ever seen. Liam invites her to meet him for a drink. Bitter at James, she agrees. She just wants to feel something other than hurt. One drink turns into one night, which turns into two nights. Laurie can't get Liam out of her mind but she assumes she'll never see him again. She's only been with two men in her entire life and decides she's just needs to forget it happened. But then a bomb is dropped and she learns Liam is her new boss.

    I loved this book! Cheating isn't something I usually like, but it works in this story. I am so hoping Laurie and Liam get a happy ending. He's mysterious and keeps some really important information from her, but you can tell that Laurie effects him as much as he does her. James of course is determined not to give up. I think Becky is going to cause some problems sooner or later and I'm ready for Laurie to slap her. The next book Embrace releases in May. There is just something about Liam that has me crossing my fingers that things will work. Entice ends in a rather stressful place, and I can't wait to see what happens next. I also hope maybe we get some chapters from Liam's POV. I'd love to know what he's thinking.

    I know I’m normally a 5⭐️ book lover but my only reason for the 4 was I just don’t know how there could be more.. could it have all been one book? I just don’t know.. I love reading and writing and I know they take time and sometimes something better than nothing but I just don’t know how to feel Liam has betrayed Laurie’s trust twice by hiding facts.. James shacked up with her best friend and is refusing to accept a divorce and her parents seem toxic.. it’s a lot! Ngl.. it’s a lot for such a small snippet.. it was good.. just left me a bit wild.. maybe I’ll try the next one and see!
