Now we are launching Causes. A feature designed to maximize the impact of every donation. Anyone can bring together up to 50 mission aligned projects in one place, and an AI agent ensures funds are distributed to the projects that stay active and match the Cause’s mission. Whether your focus is Climate, ReFi, Women in Web3, or Open Source Infrastructure, Causes let you strengthen entire ecosystems with a single contribution. What Is a Cause? A Cause is a themed donation pool made up of between 5 to 50 Verified Projects. You can either create your own Cause or donate to one that already exists. When you give to a Cause, your donation is automatically converted to $GIV on Polygon. From there, the AI powered Donation Agent evaluates each project based on Giveth platform data, donation history, project updates, social media activity, and GIVpower rankings. At regular intervals, the agent redistributes funds from the Cause pool, giving more to projects that are highly relevant, consistently updated, and demonstrating strong impact. Why Create a Cause? If you see a gap in public goods funding, Causes give you the tools to fill it. First define a theme you care about, then select between five and fifty verified projects, and launch your Cause with a one time fee of 1,000 $GIV. Creators receive 3% of GIVbacks for every donation from their Cause. This means you can create a funding theme category on Giveth, promote it, and earn while helping impactful projects get the support they deserve. One donation can support multiple aligned projects at the same time while an AI agent directs more funds to the ones creating the greatest impact. How to Get Started For creators Write your Cause description and define its scope. Select 5 to 50 verified projects with a Polygon address. Pay the one time launch fee of one 1,000 $GIV. Start receiving donations and earn three percent of all distributions. For donors Visit the Causes homepage on Giveth. Explore the list of Causes. Choose one that matches your values. Make your donation in your preferred token. What about $GIV? When you donate to a Cause, your contribution is turned into $GIV before reaching the Cause pool.
