Reparations Summer Project 2025

From July 6 to 13, 2025, Uhuru Solidarity Movement is hosting a community organizing intensive to build material solidarity with the Black Liberation Movement. Stand with the northside African community building political and economic power in their own hands and resisting the efforts of the city government to gentrify the northside in the aftermath of tornado devastation!

Bring your skills, enthusiasm, and passion for social justice! Volunteer with the Reparations Investment Company and support the Black Power Blueprint, Black-led programs for economic development and self-empowerment!

Each participant is asked to contribute $30 per day to cover the costs of food and other logistics. USM will send you a link to contribute after you register. 

Housing costs are not included in registration. Once we receive your registration, our Housing & Transportation Coordinator will be in touch with you to discuss further details.
